Effective Teaching in Diverse Classrooms

Target Audience: K-12 teachers
(Estimated 12 hours of viewing content)

Learning how to design thoughtful lessons that allow students to connect to meaningful events in their lives can energize classroom instruction. This program will provide you with the five strategies to achieve the student engagement and outcome you desire. Learn how to scaffold instruction, interface with students individually, and create a learning environment where students are responsible for their own needs. Then watch master teachers show you what each phase looks like in action in real classrooms. This program is based on the award winning research of CREDE (Center for Research on Education and Diversity). The program is recommended for both individual teachers and colleagues working together. Specific peer coaching techniques are included in every program module.
